Willie Henry Bullock, 77, Kokomo, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Waterford Health Campus. He was born March 25, 1941, in Silver City, Mississippi, to the late Monk and Fannie (Williams) Bullock. He married Annie (Thomas) Bullock on May 24, 1986, in Peru, and she survives.

Willie retired from Chrysler in 2001 after 32 years in production. He was a member of the UAW 685. Willie enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards, traveling, and riding his bicycle. He also enjoyed photography and videography. Willie was a member of Wayman Chapel AME Church, where he served as a trustee, an usher, and in the Men's Choir.

Willie is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Annie; son, Christopher Shawn (Carmalita) Thomas; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, James (Lillie) Bullock, of Belzoni, Mississippi, Andrew Bullock, of Detroit, Michigan, Albert Bullock, of Gary, Indiana; two sisters, Carrie Twymon, of Ferndale, Michigan, and Brenda Terry, of Gary, Indiana; mother-in-law, Annie Thomas, Sardis, Alabama; five brothers-in-law, Bennett (Ethel) Thomas, of Selma, Alabama, and McKenzie (Philippa) Thomas, of Decatur, Ohio, Frederick (Sarah) Thomas, of Euclid, Ohio, Ervin (Bettie) Thomas, of Dallas, Georgia, and Carl Thomas, of Sardis, Alabama; sister-in-law, Mable Thomas, of Euclid, Ohio; special niece, Robin Bullock; best friend, Stan McCroy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Battle.

The funeral service will at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Wayman Chapel AME Church, 920 Apperson Way N., Kokomo, with Pastor William Gary officiating. The family will have a time of public visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, also at the church. Burial will take place in Alabama at a later date.
