Kokomo, IN - Willard "Pete" Redman passed from this world on March 22, 2026. A man known for his smile, selflessness and warmth will be missed by family and friends. He was born August 5, 1938, in Portageville, MO, to George and Jettie (Euwell) Redman. With his mother's untimely death when he was an infant, Pete was raised by his aunt and uncle, Lloyd and Lydia (Fuwell) Sauls of Qulin, MO. He became the cherished eldest brother to Jettie, Margaret and Dan.

In 1960, he met and married Barbara (Creasy) Redman in Kokomo, IN. They were married for many years and had two wonderful boys, Wayne Redman and Danny Redman.

Pete worked for Teamsters Union Local #274 construction in Kokomo and retired after 41 years. In 1997, he met and fell in love with Sharon Magers, who became his best friend, partner in crime, and travel buddy. They were known for throwing the best cowboy bean suppers in the area. Together they raised their two fur babies, Sophie and Katie, two very spoiled and loved Boston Terriers.

He is survived by Sharon Magers, his son, Wayne; his grandchildren, Christopher and Brian; daughter-in-law Candy; his great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Robbie, Haidan; siblings, Margaret and Dan; and his last fur baby, Lily Mae.

Pete was predeceased by his beloved son, Danny, and his sister, Jettie.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 am to Noon Monday March 30, 2026, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, IN 46902. A funeral service celebrating Pete's life will begin Noon on Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Duncan officiating.
