Kokomo, IN. - W. Ann McAninch

Wolson Ann McAninch, 91, Kokomo, passed away at 1:32 am, Wednesday July 1, 2026, at her home. She was born in Changwon-kun, Korea, on October 1, 1934, the daughter of the late Hwang Chi Yon and Pok (Pak) Sun. In Kokomo on May 21, 1977, she married Emanuel Wayne McAninch, he proceeded her in death on July 27, 2010.

Ann took pride in taking care of her family and home. She was a member of the Kokomo Assembly of God Korean Church and Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers and vegetable garden.

Ann is survived by her children and stepchildren, Tuk (Yuvonne) Doss of Wylie, TX, JoAnne (Garry) Jones of Kokomo, George Doss of Indianapolis, Nita Wright of Kokomo, Karen Haworth of Kokomo, Joe (Cindy) McAninch of Arkansas; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; siblings, Jimson and Musan of Korea.

Along with her husband Emanuel, she was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sunam; stepson, John McAninch; and two grandchildren.

Friends may visit the family from 10 am to 11 am on Tuesday July 7, 2026, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W Lincoln Road, Kokomo. A funeral service celebrating Ann's life will take place at 11 am on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Inho Cho, officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery.
