Sue Anne Fulkerson, 76, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:21 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, at Community Howard Regional Health, Kokomo. Born Oct. 15, 1941, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Leo Wood and Suzanna (Leonard) Wood. She was also raised by her stepfather, the late Lloyd Conwell.

She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. She was employed with Delco Electronics, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of UAW Local 292, an avid animal lover and rescuer, and a Christian who was a member of Southdowns Church in Kokomo. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include one son, Lenny (Kris) Fulkerson, of Martinsville; one daughter, Lisa Steele, of Greencastle; one brother, Stephen Conwell, of Kokomo; one sister, Edwina (Robert) Foust, of Greentown; two grandchildren, Chelsea Steele and Katherine Fulkerson; and one great-grandson, Malaki Steele. There are also several nieces and nephews.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; one daughter, Lorraine Gallagher; and one brother, David Wood.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Pastor Mark Rennaker will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
