Stephen "Steve" Wayne Suter Sr., 61, passed away Tuesday night, Feb. 7, 2017, at his home, surrounded by family. Steve was born Aug. 29, 1955, in Kokomo to Lawrence and Marian Suter. He worked for Chrysler for 31 years. Steve married Renee Cantrell on July 20, 1987.

Steve enjoyed customizing motorcycles and cars, especially his Harley. He loved to watch racing. Steve was artistic and talented at drawing tattoo designs. He was a proud member of the Kokomo Shifters and of U.A.W. 1166. Steve loved his friends and family, and they will miss him forever.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Suter; sons, Keith (Brittany) Suter, Stephen Jr. (Kristina) Suter and Josh Suter; daughter, Cassandra (Dog) Howell; brother, George Suter; sister, Janet (Glen) Stevens; nephews, Tony (Suzanne) Suter and Glen A. Stevens; nieces, Melissa (Jeff) Moore, Kimberly (Emil) Stevens and Nancy (Jody) Hart; and grandchildren, Holly and Kylei Brown and Hayley and Aubrey Suter.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Judith Mascari and infant Nancy Suter.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at Ellers Webster Street Chapel. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, also at the mortuary, with Pastor Meiring officiating. Steve will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Garden.
