Kokomo, IN. - Royal (Roy) W. Quinn, Kokomo, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2026. Born on June 12, 1931, in Scandinavia WI, he was the son of Clay and Grace (Roe) Quinn. On September 13, 1958, he married Mary L.Quinn, who survives.

Roy graduated from Amherst high School in Wisconsin and worked at Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee until being drafted by the US Army where he served in the Korean Conflict from1952-1954 where he received two Bronze Service Stars. After completing computer training at Manpower Business School, he began his career with General Motors in Oak Creek WI in 1960, was transferred to Kokomo in 1972, and retired from General Motors - Electronic Data Systems in 1991. Roy was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer and Golden K Kiwanis.

Along his wife, Mary, Roy is survived by his son, Steven (Donna) Quinn, Newington NH; son-in-law David (Mary) Kleiman, Indianapolis IN; granddaughter, Mandy Kleiman, Indianapolis IN; grandson Joshua Quinn, Manchester NH; and bonus granddaughter Amy Kleiman, Indianapolis IN; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lori Jean Kleiman; sisters, Bernice (Vic) Siegel, Isla Rae (Gordon) Dahlen, and Joan (Lee) Bestul; brother and sister-in-law, John (Phyllis) Ewig; sisters-in-law, Arlene (Paul) Heitz, June (Richard) Feak and Wilma (Vern) Bates; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Roy's life will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 2pm at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 705 E Southway Boulevard, with Pastor John Dryer officiating. Military honors provided by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team. Friends may visit the family from 1pm - 2pm, on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer or the Ronald McDonald House.
