Flora, IN - Roy Lee Buckner, of Flora, Indiana, passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 81.
He was born on Oct. 8, 1943, in Kokomo, Indiana.
Roy is survived by his wife, Mary McClain Buckner, daughter, Sherri (Jay) Miller, Kokomo, Indiana; stepdaughters, Cindy Voorhees, Kokomo, Indiana, Judy (Mike) Rucka, Baytown, Texas, Joan (Eric) Ross Delphi, Indiana; siblings, Robert (Erma) Buckner, Morristown, Tennessee, Ann (Bob, deceased) Long, Kokomo, Indiana, Claudia (Steve) Wesley, Prattville, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie L. Cotterman and Albert N. Buckner; granddaughter, Kylie Miller; son, Duane Buckner; and step-granddaughter, Rebekah Voorhees.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Fountain of Life Church (formerly United Methodist Church), 103 E. Main St., Flora, Indiana, on Sunday, July 27. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., immediately followed by the Celebration of Life.
