Kokomo, IN. - Rose Ann "Rosie" (Rexstrew) Fowler, 85 years old, of Kokomo, passed away 3:56 pm Saturday July 4, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born in Carroll County, IN, on May 29, 1941, the daughter of the late Clarence "Fireball" and Georgia Karlean (Prather) Rexstrew. On September 18, 1971, she married Rex Allyn Fowler in Galveston, IN, and he survives.

Rosie was a graduate of Galveston High School. She retired from Delco Electronics in 1993 after 30 years of service. She was the sweetest and most kind-hearted lady you could ever meet. She found great joy in spending time with family and friends. Rosie enjoyed playing cards and games and was happiest sitting around the table with family and friends. She always enjoyed a good laugh even if it was at her own expense. She liked completing word finds and she read her Bible daily. She was a member of 1st Christian Church for 19 years and most recently attended Abundant Life Church in Kokomo.

In addition to her husband, Rosie is survived by her children, Stephanie Rose Sallee, Valerie (Tim) Cuthbert, Stephen Monroe Sallee; grandchildren, Levan (Emily) Cuthbert, Colby (Tanner) Martin, Brennan (Madelyn) Sallee, Kayman Sallee; great-grandchildren, Gunner Martin, Goldie Martin, Calloway Cuthbert, Camryn Cuthbert, Nash Sallee, Leia Sallee; siblings, Vickie (Greg) Johnson, Phillip (Patty) Wright; and many nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew, Billy Wright; and many aunts and uncles.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 pm to 5 pm Sunday July 12, 2026, at South Creek Church of God, 5937 S. Park Rd., Kokomo, IN 46902. A funeral service celebrating Rosie's life will begin 10:30 am Monday July 13, 2026, at the church with Pastor Aaron Perry officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden.
