Kokomo, Indiana - ORIGINS OF A PHENOMENAL WOMAN
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Lewis and Sandra Daniels, Ramona spent her early years in Philadelphia surrounded by her large, loving family. Throughout her life, she held on to those memories as she moved to Virginia, Michigan, Texas, New Jersey, Ohio and finally Indiana. In each place, Ramona worked to support her children, grow in her career and live with faith and resilience. She was a caring and loving woman whose kindness and warmth touched all who knew her. Guided by her love for Christ, Ramona lived a life marked by compassion, generosity and steadfast faith.
ARTSY SIDE
Blessed with extraordinary talent, Ramona was a brilliant artist who mastered her craft with grace and dedication. Every stroke of her brush carried the passion God placed within her, turning her gift into a ministry of beauty and inspiration. Her artwork spoke volumes, capturing her creativity and spirit in ways words could never fully convey. She loved painting in bright, lively colors, reflecting the joy, warmth and light she brought to everyone around her. Through her vibrant works of art, she not only expressed herself but also uplifted and encouraged viewers, leaving them with a renewed sense of hope and inspiration.
LOVE ETERNAL
Left to cherish sweet memories of Ramona are loving children, Omar Q. Daniels Sr., (daughter-in-law, Shameka) and Amari Daniels; beloved grandchildren, Omarea, Omar Jr. and Omir Daniels; and goddaughter, Brianda Henderson.
The eldest of 12 siblings, Ramona is lovingly remembered for her unfailing love by Lewis Daniels, Jr., Tyrone Daniels, Renee Spells, (Fred), Pamela Mckenzie (Garfield), William Laws, Cherish, Kelli, Gabriel, Christianna, Julie and Elijah Daniels. She shared a special bond with bonus sisters, Bernadett Watts, Ruthie Reaves and Rosetta Diggs. Also rejoicing in her memory are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who cherished her kindness and loving spirit.
Services of Remembrance will begin with a public visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, held in the Sanctuary of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 1599 E. Sycamore St. Rev. Dr. Lonnie E. Anderson Jr., will serve as officiant/eulogist. Final disposition will be private. Complimentary live-streaming will be provided by the N.L. Bluitt, Jr. Funeral Chapel, Inc. via the Bluitt and Son Facebook page and website. The N.L. Bluitt, Jr. Funeral Chapel is honored to be elected by the Daniels Family to provide final services for Ramona.
