Penny L. Rybolt Obituary

Penny L. (Prince) Rybolt, 69, of Kokomo, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, July 2, 2018, at Kindred North Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 18, 1949, in Kokomo to D. Darrell and Lois I. (Swing) Prince.

She graduated from Eastern High School in 1967. In her early years, she was a wonderful caretaker of her younger siblings. She later worked as a CNA at Sycamore Village and as a waitress at Steak-N-Shake. Penny spent most of her adult life as a homemaker, taking care of her beloved children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She loved the Lord and was a lifelong member of Soul's Harbor Worship Center, while also attending Four Square Grace Community Church and Radiant Life Ministries with her children.

Survivors include two sons, Doug (Tricia) Rybolt and Jeramy (Melissa) Rybolt, both of Kokomo; three sisters, Pamela Canard, Kokomo, Patty (Biff) Hobson, Galveston, Texas, and Paula (Garrett) Friend, Frankfort; grandchildren, Sariya Rybolt, Kylie (Casie Shue), Amanda Wilson, Sebastian (Brooke) Rybolt, Korey (Rhea) Sexton, Bryan (Brittany) Rybolt, Sausha Rybolt, and Tahtianna Rybolt; great-grandchildren, Noah Shue, Leigha Wilson, Ava Sexton, Eli Shue, Asher Sexton, and Samira Rybolt; several nieces and nephews; former spouse and father to her sons, John Rybolt; and special little friend, her Pom-Terrier, Sadie, whom she adored.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents and great-granddaughter, Abby.

Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo, with Pastor J. Steve Pearce officiating. Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of service, also on Saturday, at the mortuary.
