Paulette  Bailey (Morris)
Paulette Bailey, 76, Kokomo, went to her heavenly home at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, with family by her side. She was born March 13, 1943, in Kokomo, the daughter of the late Paul James and Beulah Marie (Ennis) Morris. On May 11, 2013, she married Elbert E. Bailey, who preceded her in death May 21, 2013.
Paulette was a 1962 graduate of Kokomo High School. She retired in 1997 as a secretary from Delco Electronics after 30 years of service. She also attended IUK School of Nursing. Paulette was a devoted mom and grandma. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and her fur babies, Max and Mollie. She was a wonderful cook, she loved gardening, and enjoyed working with Yorkie Rescue. She had a caregiver's heart.
Paulette was the beloved mom of Todd Abbott, Brenda Abbott, Lisa Sines, and Jonathan (Missy) Sines; grandma of Anthony (Lindsay) Abbott, Alyssa Menovcik, Nathan (Geneva) Menovcik, Shaley Sines, Tyler Sines, and Johnny Shutt; great-grandma of Ethan Abbott and Travis Andersen; sister of Nancy Cheever and Judy Evans; aunt to many special nieces and nephews.
Paulette was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Rose Gallegos.
The family would like to thank the Community Oncology Center, Kokomo, and Guardian Angel Hospice for the exceptional care they provided.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Chaplain Douglas Slack officiating. Burial will follow in North Union Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

I will miss her terribly! We have been great friends since junior high school and have continued our friendship until she passed away! I have many many great memories! Tell Sandy I said hello when you are in heaven! Love you

Paulette was one of my very best friends since junior high school and high school and continued our friendship until she passed away! I will certainly miss her but she will be in my heart forever! My heart aches but I will always remember the great times we shared!
