Linda Sue Lawhead, 79, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Waterford Place Health Campus.
She was born in Robinson, Illinois, on Dec. 31, 1944, to the late Jack Nebergall and Betty (White) King, who survive. Linda married David Lawhead and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1999.
Linda was a homemaker. She attended Crossroads Church. Linda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her daughters, DeAnna (Brent) Valdez and DiAnna Lawhead; mother, Betty King; grandchildren, Christian, Michael, Alexis, Carley, Denni, Autumn, Derek and Lyndsey; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Julietta Buchanan, Benjamin King, Lavina Presley, Charles King, Anita Allender and Kenneth King; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death is her husband, David; two sons, Dennis Lawhead and Danny Lawhead; and sister, Geanna Skaggs.
There will be a visitation for Linda on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon at Ellers Mortuary Main Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo, Indiana. Pastor Jeff Harlow will be officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
