Lieselotte K. "Lottie" Price, 90, of Kokomo, passed away at 9:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at her residence. Born May 12, 1928, in Frankfurt, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Franz Krissel and Louise (Schnider) Krissel. On Aug. 12, 1948, she was married to Norman A. Price, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2007.
She was an O.B. technician at St. Joseph Hospital for 37 years. She was a member of Main Street Christian Church in Russiaville. She was a member of the D.A.N.K. Club, German Club, and the Ladies Aid Society, and she made prayer shawls at church. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Renita Chesney, of Warsaw, Kathy (Dave) Johnson, of Sun City, Arizona; one son, Steve C. (Kim) Price, of Marion; one sister, Margot Fields, of Kokomo; also seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one brother, Willi Krissel; also one granddaughter, Kelly Johnson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Pastor Rick Walden will officiate. Burial will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
