Saint Charles, Illinois - Our beloved father and husband, John (Jack) Ronald McAnally of St. Charles, Illinois, passed on at the age of 91 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois, on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025.

He was born on Sept. 30, 1933, in Hymera, Indiana, to Ronald and Almina McAnally.

Jack graduated from Kokomo High School in 1951.

On Sunday, Dec. 21, 1952, he married Margaret (Peg) Joann (Fisher) McAnally.

Jack attended Ball State University earning a BS in chemistry, physics and math, graduating in 1955. He later went on to receive his Masters in 1962.

Jack served in the United States Air Force as a pilot, flying KC-97s until 1958 and then continuing until 1970 in the Reserves. He attained the rank of Captain.

Jack retired from Motorola Inc. in 1990. After retirement, Jack's main passion, other than his family, was family genealogy. He spent countless hours researching his family and many others.

Jack is survived by his wife, Peg McAnally, children, Kathy (David) Kaser of Tucson, Arizona, John (Jennifer) McAnally of Sycamore, Illinois, and Julie (Dean) White of St. Charles, Illinois; grandchildren, Scott (Sarah) Kaser, Mark (Jill) Kaser, Julia (Dillon) McCarty, Mason (Cassandra) McAnally, Sarah McAnally, Nina White, Nathan White and Rachel White; great-grandchildren, Emma and Keira Kaser.

He was preceded in death by his sister, who died at birth; and his parents, Ronald and Almina McAnally.

Private visitation and services have already been held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to American Heart Association, St Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Lung Association.
