Helen J. Haworth, 80, of Kokomo, passed away at 9:16 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at her residence. Born Dec. 14, 1937, in Howard County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Watson and Alta (Thomas) Watson. She married Charles "Chuck" Haworth, and he preceded her in death in 1992.

She was co-owner and operator of Chuck's Donuts for 30 years. She also worked at Richard's Restaurant for 23 years and Bob Evans for 10 years. She loved QVC and the Home Shopping Network.

Survivors include one son, Charles Haworth Jr., of Kokomo; three daughters, Diana Sweeney, Debra (Randy) Turner, and Jane (Mike) Wilson, all of Kokomo; one brother, Rex "Sonny" (wife-Joyce) Watson; one sister, Barbara Mullins; her companion of 20 years, James Lowery, of Kokomo. Helen always had an unbreakable bond with her granddaughter, Joan, and her great-grandson, Keagan Haworth. She was also survived by 10 grandchildren, more than 20 great-grandchildren, and more than 10 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Kathy Haworth and Barbara Sharp; one brother, Ralph Watson; three grandchildren; and two sons-in-law.

The family would like to especially thank Great Lakes Hospice and Comfort Keepers for the care given to Helen.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo. Pastor Jeff Sexton will officiate. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
