Gerald L. "Jerry" Sanders, 62, Macy, (Nyona Lake) Indiana, passed away at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
He was born Jan. 2, 1954 in Kokomo, the son of George and Lois (Campbell) Sanders. He was a 1972 graduate of Haworth High School in Kokomo, and had been a self- employed painting contractor. He had attended Mill Creek Missionary Church in Rochester. In his spare time, he enjoyed researching and creating American Indian Cultural items, fishing and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his brothers, Tom and wife Linda Sanders, Windom, Minnesota, and George and wife Cynthia Sanders, Magnolia, Texas; sisters, Robin Elaine Sanders, Sharpsville, and Willow Radcliff and partner Laura, Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
