Gary Dean Zook, 66, Kokomo, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. He was born Jan. 27, 1951, to the late Margaret (Shuck) Zook and Noah Zook. He married Bonnie Jean Zook March 23, 1975, in Kokomo. She preceded him in death.

Gary graduated from Tri Central High School, Class of 1969. He then went to work for Chrysler, retiring after 30 years of service. Gary was a diehard New York Yankees fan. He was a cars enthusiast, and his favorite movies and shows included anything that had Superman in them. He loved spending time at home and in the yard.

Surviving Gary are his son, Christopher Zook; daughter, Lauren Zook; sisters, Judy Lawson, Connie Piel and Cathy Onkes; brothers, Richard Zook (Kathy) and Mark Zook (Linda); and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Bonnie.

A funeral service for Gary will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. The family will offer visiting hours from 1 to 3 p.m.
