Bonnie G. (Badgley) Alley, 68, entered this world in Tipton on Oct. 28, 1956.

She was the loving daughter of Cleo "Pete" and Gretchen (Green) Badgley. Bonnie passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at her home in Tipton, surrounded by her family. She married John Alley on May 19, 2007, and he survives to cherish her memory.

Bonnie spent her career working for the Indiana Division of Family Resources, retiring as an Administrative Assistant in 2022 after 40 years of service, helping many families in their time of trouble. She was a graduate of Tipton High School in the Class of 1975. Bonnie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tipton. She enjoyed crafting, watching her son Andy clogging and taking golf cart rides. Bonnie was very good at baking Angel Food cakes.

She spent a lot of time watching grandkids in their sporting events. Bonnie always tried to help others by posting inspirational posts on social media. She loved to plant flowers, go bird watching with John and spend time with her dog, JJ.

Survivors besides her husband John include her children, Andy Schwierman (Nico), West Hollywood, California, Josh Alley (Amy), Bloomington and Jena Welker (Steve) of Greencastle. Bonnie also has four grandchildren, Jarrin and Ella Alley, Peyton Welker (Arrysohn) and Parker Welker.

Bonnie's funeral will be held at the First Presbyterian Church at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, with Pastor Phil Votaw presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 1 - 5 p.m. on Thursday. She will be buried at Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
