Alicia "Ali" Ann Peifer Obituary

Clarksville, TN - Alicia "Ali" Ann Peifer, 50, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away at 8:08 a.m. on July 5, 2026. She was born September 27, 1975, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Steven Kent and Patricia Ann (Bradway) McGraw. On October 7, 2006, she married Jon R. Peifer, and he endures.

Ali graduated from Tri-Central High School, in Sharpsville, Indiana, in 1994. She proudly served her country in the United States Army as a parachute rigger in the 82nd Airborne Division from 1995 to 1999, attaining the rank of SPC/E-4. After her military service, she attended college at I.U. Bloomington and I.U.P.U.I. where she earned her bachelor's degree in occupational therapy in 2004. She worked several years as an occupational therapist where her teaching heart and compassion for others undoubtedly showed. Nothing surpassed becoming a mother to three beautiful children. A role she was clearly meant for as their guide, cheerleader, protector, and biggest supporter at all their sports and events! Ali loved sharing knowledge and making connections with others about many things but especially in the world of wellness, holistic medicine, and natural remedies. That passion led her to start her own business in 2015 making delicious, immune boosting elderberry syrup called Old Wives' Tales which is widely known in the Clarksville area. Her love of teaching and giving continued with her substitute teaching and volunteering at Clarksville Christian School where she was always eager to help where needed. Ali attended Clarksville First Baptist Church where she found great joy in serving through nursery care, Vacation Bible School, and many other ministries. Her unwavering Christian faith and love of God shaped the way she lived, inspiring a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a caring heart for everyone she met. Ali loved preparing meals for her family and was an exceptional cook. She loved to bargain shop, watch movies and do puzzles. She never tired of learning, sharing the knowledge she gained or doing anything she could to help someone else. That's how she touched so many lives.

In addition to her husband, Jon Peifer, survivors include her children, Michael Lee Peifer, Alexandra "Alex" Ann Peifer, and Remington "Remi" Kaye Peifer; mother, Patricia Parker; brother, Wesley McGraw; very special nephew, Jared McGraw; as well as many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Steven McGraw; brother, Joseph Wayne "Joe" McGraw; aunt, Janet (McGraw) Percival; cousin, Allison Percival; maternal grandparents, Ray and Marge (Donovan) Bradway, and paternal grandparents, Ross and Wanda (Hale) McGraw.
