Teresa "Melissa" Ann Dyson, 53, was born Nov. 8, 1964, to James and Linda Dyson. She passed away Monday, April 24, 2017.
She was born in Marion and graduated from Marion High School. Teresa attended City of Refuge Church of God in Christ. She was employed at Soupley's Wine and Spirits in Kokomo.
Teresa leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Linda Dyson; one son, Aaric Alexander St. Clair, Kokomo; two daughters, Brikesha Dyson, Kokomo, and Cara Clark, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; 12 brothers, Van Dyson, John Dyson and Ronnie Dyson, all of Indianapolis, Stevie Dyson, Kevin (Pam) Wallace, Marion, Willie Dyson, all of Marion, David Dyson, Brent Dyson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Scott Dyson, Dirk Dyson, Honolulu, Hawaii, Jamie Dyson, Phoenix, Arizona, and Michael Wallace, San Francisco, California; three sisters, Barbara Dyson, Warsaw, Monica Clark, Marion, and Valerie Dyson, Kentucky; one grandson, Braedon Ludwig, Kokomo; and a special friend, Charles Johnson, Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Dyson, and her brothers, Terry Dyson, Verick King and Christopher Smith.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1612 W. Seventh St., Marion, with Pastor Willie F. Love officiating. Viewing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Estates of Serenity Cemetery.
