Sicely "Sis"'s Story
Sicely "Sis" Marie Daulton, 75, passed away at approximately 4 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017. She was born Aug. 21, 1941 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Madie Mary Ellen (Cunningham) of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Claude Freeman of Clay County, Arkansas.
Sicely was a retiree of Delco/GM in 1993, as well as a proud member of UAW 292. She loved watching TV, playing games and spending time with her family. She was a spunky, funny, generous woman who would give whatever she had to anyone she felt needed her help. She loved deer. She had a heart of gold.
Sicely is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Mary Freeman, Greentown, as well as being the proud mother of Angel Daulton, Lafayette, Tami and son-in-law Jack Harris, Rochester, Brenda (Daulton) and son-in-law Chris Miyamoto, Indianapolis, and Bryan and daughter-in-law, Sara (Berryman) Daulton, Merrillville. Her pride and joy were her 11 grandchildren, Sara Rae Rust, Raiden and Alexandra Miyamoto, Indianapolis, Benjamin Daulton, Los Angeles, Aryn Daulton, Lafayette, Maggie Rust, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Cameron Daulton, Kokomo, and Kelly, Laura, Sammie and David Daulton, Merriville, Indiana; and her two great-grandsons, Chace Williams, Lafayette, and Joziah Daulton, Kokomo.
Sicely was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as all of her remaining siblings and half-siblings.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, with a memorial service to follow at noon. Inurnment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
