Sharon S. Kelly, 79, Kokomo, passed away at 9:24 a.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017, at St. Vincent Kokomo. She was born March 12, 1938, in Middleton, Michigan, to Matthew and Lorraine (Smith) Smith. On March 15, 1958, she married Corwin Kelly, and he preceded her in death Feb. 15, 2006.
Sharon graduated from Midland High School in 1956 and worked at Functional Devices for 18 years as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitching and embroidering. She was a member of the Ham Radio Club and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Shannon (Brian) Collins, Noblesville, Kendra (Desi) Dalton, Sharpsville, and Erin (Dave) Steelman, Sharpsville; eight grandchildren, Lindsay (Mike) Houser, Jordan Collins, River (Collin) Musa, Corwin Dalton, Dallas (Chris) Potts, Audrey Goodnight, Jade Goodnight and Jared (Rachel) Goodnight; five great-grandchildren, Blake Campbell, Cicely Houser, Blaze Musa, Coen Musa and Avery Potts; two brothers, Terry Smith and Chris (Sherry) Smith; and sister-in-law, Sandy Smith.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Barry Smith.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 S. 200 West, with the Rev. Father Matthew Arbuckle the celebrant. Private burial will take place in Russiaville Cemetery at a later date. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville.
