Ronnie Dwane Browning, 43, Kokomo, passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born April 23, 1974, in Kokomo, the son of Ronnie and Nanette (Osborne) Browning.
Ronnie continued to help people after his death, giving the gift of life through the donation of his organs.
Ronnie was a 1992 graduate of Kokomo High School. He was employed with FCA Chrysler ITP1 for the last 22 years. He previously worked for Subaru, P.L. Porter and Vincent Concrete. Ronnie was a member of UAW Local 685.
Ronnie is survived by his daughter, Ariane Browning; parents, Ronnie and Nanette Browning, Kokomo; stepson, Austin (Morgan) Cooper; stepgrandson, Oakley Wright Cooper, whom he adored; and sisters, Shellie (Homer) Ruth, and Rhonda (Anthony) Walton; the mother of his children, Wendy Browning; five nieces; and five nephews.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents, several aunts and one uncle.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Chaplain Terry Lindsay officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
