Nada V. Robinson, 64, Kokomo, passed away at 8:27 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital Kokomo. She was born Aug. 19, 1952, in Kokomo, to Loyal Bruce Gerard and Gladys Leota (Husband) Gerard. On Dec. 15, 1979, in Kokomo, she married James R. Robinson, and he survives. She graduated from Kokomo High School and later attended Indiana Business College. She worked for Kokomo Wire and Cable, Kokomo Tribune, and Kirlin's Hallmark, retiring in 1997. She attended Kokomo First Assembly of God Church. Nada was a collector of Precious Moments and Ty Beanie Babies.
Survivors include her husband of Kokomo; daughter, Chiquita Marie (Robinson) Dacons; sister, Leesa J. and husband Terry Parsons; brother, Randy B. Gerard; grandson, Kameron James Dacons all of Kokomo; sister-in-law and special friend, Connie Robinson of Indianapolis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Sharon K. Wisor, and a grandson, Isiah Robinson.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Brian Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Kokomo First Assembly of God Church.
