Michael Robin Walker, 66, Kokomo, passed peacefully Saturday, May 20, 2017. Michael was born June 12, 1950, to his parents, George H. and Annabelle Walker (Webb) in Kokomo. Michael married Lois Y. Walker (Mundy) on Dec. 28, 1968, and she survives.
Michael is survived by his children, Chris (Pam) Walker, Wendy (Chad) DeWitt, and Chad (Tisha) Walker; brothers, David (Cheryl) Walker, Rick (Deb) Walker; sisters, Marolyn (Bob) Thomas, Betty Keller, Susan (Gary) Frank, and Judy (Neal) Ronk; grandchildren, Chloe DeWitt, Skyler Chorrushi, Madison Walker, Gage DeWitt, Morgan Walker, Patience Walker, and Harper Walker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to the Beatles, camping, and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, but especially his grandchildren. He was a firm believer that "What you get out of life is from your hard work" and "You make your own luck." His willingness to help anyone, personality, and charming smile will be missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ron Walker; and sister, Carolyn Duncan.
Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25, with calling one hour prior and from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster St. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
