Michael W. Stanley, 61, Kokomo, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017. He was born Nov. 11, 1955, in Kokomo to Wayne and Rhoda (Gillespie) Stanley. On Feb. 14, 1991, Mike married Cindy Powell.
Mike was a Western High School graduate and worked for Montgomery Trucking. He was a member of the Young America Volunteer Fire Department and a member of ABATE. Mike loved to ride his motorcycle, go camping with his family and friends, and play practical jokes of any kind.
Survivors include his children, Wayne M. Stanley, Washington, District of Columbia, John M. Rinehart and fiancee Savannah Weathers, Tucson, Arizona, Glen A. Stanley, Kokomo, and Breeann L. Stanley, Kokomo; sister, Shari Worthman, Russiaville; nephew, Shane Myers, Kokomo; and girlfriend, Dawn Garcia, Bluffton.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Rhonda Stanley; wife, Cindy Stanley; and brother-in-law, Pat Worthman.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 28, at the funeral home.
