Matthew D. Hill, 23, Amboy, went to be with Jesus Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at his residence. He was born Jan. 24, 1994, in Kokomo, to Matthew Thomas Hill and Kelley Sue Jameson.
Matthew graduated from Maconaquah High School in 2012, and worked for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Tipton Transmission Plant.
Survivors include his mother of Kokomo; stepfather, Larry Turner Jr., Kokomo; maternal grandmother, LaRita Miller, Amboy; maternal grandfather, James D. Jameson and wife Carol, Kokomo; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Hill, Kokomo; paternal stepgrandmother, Renee Hill, Valley Mills, Texas; brother, Daniel D. Hill, Breckenridge, Colorado; sister, Megan E. Williams and husband Codey, Peru; brother, Nolan L. Turner, Kokomo; best friend, Shawn Breitweiser, Amboy.
He was preceded in death by his father; stepmaternal grandfather, Oba J. Miller; paternal grandfather, Dean Hill; and a nephew, Jameson Matthew Williams.
A private viewing with family will take place, followed by cremation. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at Stars of Light Chapel, 809 S. Elizabeth St., with the Rev. Tim Tranbarger officiating. A dinner will immediately follow the services at the church.
