Mary H. Hill, 74, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at North Woods Village in Kokomo. Born Jan. 22, 1943, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Donald E. and Vivian L. Rolfe (Barnes).
Mary graduated from Kokomo High School and then received her license in cosmetology from Wright's Beauty College. Upon getting her certification, she worked as a hairstylist for several locations, and then became an instructor at PJ's Beauty College. She was married to Harold E. Hill on Oct. 21, 1961, and they later divorced.
Mary was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo. She enjoyed cooking and creating all types of crafts, including teaching aides that she would use for her students at PJ's Beauty College. She also enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Caprice R. Hill; and her granddaughter, Vivianne N. Pentland.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, John Rolfe and David Rolfe.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, Kokomo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to the organization of the donor's choice.
