Mark Alan Dailey, 56, Kokomo, passed away at 8:49 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at his home. He was born Sept. 3, 1960, in Tipton, the son of Charles Andrew and Peggy Joan (Campbell) Dailey. On Sept. 12, 1997, he married Christina Elaine Bitner, and she survives.
Mark worked in construction. He loved spending time with his children. Mark enjoyed fishing, camping, being outdoors, watching the Sci-fi and History channels and drinking his coffee.
Mark is survived by his wife, Christina Dailey, Kokomo; children, Crystal Dailey, Paige Dailey, Sierra Dailey, Cheyenne Dailey, Tiffany Dailey, Mark Dailey Jr., Peggy Dailey, Tamara Conlad, Robert Bales and Justin Bales; grandson, Simon Thompson; sisters, Martha Dailey and Andria (Donald "Doc") Lowe; and several nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Gerald "Moby" Dailey, Donald Dailey and Kelly Dailey; two sisters, Jancie Haworth and Valarie Dailey; mother-in-law, Elaine Midgett; and sister-in-law, Carrie Elizabeth Bitner.
Funeral services for Mark will be at noon Friday, March 3, 2017, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home Friday.
