Malcom McKee, 88, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at his residence. Malcom was born Nov. 20, 1928, to Bill and Marie (Vanmeter) McKee in Linton.
Malcom served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1948 to 1950. He worked as an iron worker out of Local 379 in Lafayette before hiring into Delco as a millwright. After 26 years at Delco, he retired at the age of 62.
Malcom married Mary Lynn (Scott) on Jan. 17, 1948, in Sweetser, and together they would raise two daughters, Loretta Morris and Lorraine Alexander. Also surviving are grandchildren, Beth Forker and Chad (Mandy) Comp, Matt (Tiffany) Comp; and six great-grandchildren.
Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife, Mary.
There will be a gathering of friends and family from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, with a funeral immediately following with the Rev. Don McDowell officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
