Katybeth Wooldridge, 74, Kokomo, passed away at 1 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at her home. She was born Nov. 19, 1942, in Evansville, to James F. and Dolores L.M. (Johansen) Moxley. On Oct. 28, 1961, she married Jerry L. Wooldridge in Greentown, and he survives.
Katybeth graduated from Eastern High School in 1960. She attended Ball State University and earned her associate degree in computer science at Ivy Tech Community College. She worked as a bookkeeper for South Side Christian Church and Clover Excavating. She loved sewing, playing euchre and watching her grandchildren's sporting events. She was a member of the Sewing Guild, the Home Ec Club, Taylor Band Boosters and Athletic Boosters and attended Faith Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Melody (Pat) Gammans, Kokomo, Daryl (Jerri) Wooldridge, Lombard, Illinois, and Anita Wooldridge, Kokomo; grandchildren, Mackenzie Gammans, Michael Gammans, Gavin Wooldridge and Cooper Wooldridge; brother, James (Becky) Moxley; and nephew, Donovan Moxley; and niece, Dresden Moxley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janetta Moxley.
The funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Becky Sundquist officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
