John M. Warner, 39, Greentown, passed away at 7:40 p.m. Thursday Oct. 5, 2017. He was born April 13, 1978, in Kokomo, the son of Larry and Robin (Nevil) Hoover. On March 5, 2004, he married Mira Lee Peterson in Las Vegas, Nevada, and she survives.
John was a 1996 graduate of Northwestern High School and had attended Ivy Tech Community College. He was owner and operator of Warner Renovating as a carpenter. John previously worked for Belco Co. at Grissom for 13 years, and was a broker and REALTOR with Weichert REALTORS - Choice Associates. He was a member of Cassville United Methodist Church. John enjoyed building furniture, riding his motorcycle, being in the woods with nature, helping others, but especially loved spending time with his wife and kids.
John is survived by his wife, Mira Warner, Greentown; children, Aubriee, Zayla, and Wyatt; parents, Larry and Robin Hoover; grandmother, Dorothy Nevil; brother, Mark Warner; and sister, Melanie Nevil.
John was preceded in death by his grandfather and his uncle.
A gathering to celebrate John's life will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, at Cassville United Methodist Church, 612 Cassville Road, Kokomo.
