Jerrilyn Kaye Martin, 67, Kokomo, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at her residence. Born April 3, 1950, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late George Harvey Meacham and Evelyn (Leavonby) Meacham.
Early in life she was a waitress for many area restaurants and also a homemaker. She loved bingo and going out for coffee. She was married to Richard Martin, who preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Henson and fiance Glen Robison, Marion, Cynthia (Marc) Rosenbach, Kokomo, and Diana (Bob) Austin, Kokomo; her mother, Evelyn Kirkpatrick, Kokomo; a half-brother, Ralph Dodge, Kokomo; and her first husband and father of her children, William Tucker, Kokomo; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Alex) Jeffries, Samantha (Will) Steele, Jessica Rosenbach, Tim VonOgden, Heather VonOgden, Kyra Walker and Jay Henson.
She was preceded in death by her father; her second husband; two brothers, Harvey Meacham and Herbert Meacham; and one half-sister, Teresa Strickland.
The family would like to thank Guardian Angel Hospice for the exceptional care given to Jerrilyn and to the family during her illness.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo. Pastor Joe Coffin will officiate. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
