James R. Reinagle, 78, Kokomo, passed away at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at his home. He was born April 25, 1938, in Watseka, Illinois, the son of the late Kenneth and Frances (Woodard) Reinagle. On March 12, 1971, he married Willow Adkins, and she survives.
James was a 1956 graduate of Watseka High School. He retired in 2007 from Delco-Delphi after 32 years of service as a tool and die maker. James was a member of H.O.G. - Harley Owner Group and UAW Local 292 and enjoyed watching NASCAR, as well.
James is survived by his wife, Willow Reinagle, Kokomo; children, Michele Reinagle Potter, St. Anne, Illinois, Melody (Michael II) Mims, Kokomo, and David Reinagle, Kokomo; grandchildren, Derek (Shannon) Potter, Kayla Reinagle (fiance, Matthew Grimme), and Karlie Reinagle; great-granddaughter, Pandora Potter; sister, Crystal Reinagle; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ron (Bernice "Sue") Cook, Rachel Workman, Charles (Opal) Workman, Ernie (Vickie) Adkins, Arnold (Barbara) Kitchen, and Brook (Tammie) Horn.
James was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
No public services are planned at this time.
