Jacqueline E. "Jackie" Clary, 66, Kokomo, passed away at 7:50 p.m. Monday July 10, 2017, at her home. She was born Aug. 31, 1950, the daughter of the late Robert J. & Margaret R. (Burrows) Clary.
Jackie worked for Bona Vista in the workshop. She was an avid fan of Indiana University Basketball, and the Chicago Cubs. She and Jack enjoyed attending the Kokomo High School ball games, and bowling. Jackie and Jack were both members of Morning Star Church.
Jackie is survived by her fiancé of 30 years, Jack Pierce, Kokomo; sister, Donna S. Ashbrook, Kokomo; niece, Hollie (Jeff) Spall, Kokomo; nephew, Michael Riggle (Darrell Flake), Clermont, Indiana; and great-nephew, Chase Spall, Kokomo, along with an abundance of friends and co-workers.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice and her doctors for their wonderful care. They would also like to thank the staff from Bona Vista for loving, caring, and checking on Jackie.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo with Pastor Jeff Evans officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Jackie's memory to Bona Vista or Southern Care Hospice.
