Eleanor J. Miller, 78, Kokomo, passed away at 10:24 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, at Golden Living Center Sycamore Village. She was born Feb. 13, 1939, in Dayton, Indiana, to Forest and Goldie (McGuire) Bunch. On Dec. 2, 1977, in Kokomo, she married Jesse Miller, and he survives.
She attended Kokomo High School. She retired from Chrysler. She was a member of Kokomo Eagles 255 Ladies Auxiliary. Eleanor loved knitting and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her husband of Kokomo; daughter, Suzan Kettron; daughter, Theresia Olson; daughter, Deborah Capps; daughter, Lucinda Miller; daughter, Gloria Kirkham; daughter, Renee Wideman and husband Dennis; sister, Violia Guffey and husband Jim; brother, Leo Bunch; grandchildren, John Bertrand, Ronnie Bertrand, James Swick, Amber Swick, Will Rogers, Robert Olson, Joey Olson, Kelly Bear, John Capps and Krystal Capps.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Capps; and siblings, Donald Bunch, David Bunch, Vernama Henson, Barbara Bowan, Ike Bunch, Lewis Bunch and Bobby Bunch.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 414 W. Jefferson St., with Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
