Dorothy June's Story
Dorothy June "Dottie" Mock Stover, 53, Flora, passed away Friday July 21, 2017, at IU Arnett Hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1963, in Kokomo, the daughter of the late James Mock and Ida (O'Dell) Mock. On Oct. 24, 1987, in Flora, Dottie married Jack Stover, who survives.
Dottie worked at McDonald's in Frankfort, Pioneer Seed Co. in Flora for six years and Indiana Packers Corp. for 16 years. Dottie helped out with the Carroll County Special Olympics. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Dottie's favorite flower was Gabriel's Horn.
Dorothy is survived by her husband; son, David Allen (Nikki) Stover, Flora; daughter, Amber Nicole Stover and Joseph John Bailey Sr., Frankfort; sister, Barbara Ann (Robert R.) Gordon, Fort Wayne.
Preceding her in death were her father and son, Kevin Joseph Stover.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, at Tippecanoe Memory Garden in Lafayette, with Pastor Jeff Landon officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's honor to Carroll County Special Olympics or to the family. Genda Funeral Home, Reinke Chapel, is entrusted with arrangements.
