Dixie Lee Hodges Pollock, 70, of Frankfort, died March 12, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital, Kokomo.
She was born Sept. 8, 1946, in Anderson to Ivan Arnold Reed & Velma Martha (Paige) Carr.
She married John W. Hodges on Dec. 9, 1987, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 1994. She then married Rhondal Pollock on Aug. 9, 2010, and he survives.
Dixie attended Arlington High School in Anderson. A homemaker, she worked at convenience stores & various restaurants. She was a member of the Greentown Baptist Church and was a pianist there. Dixie enjoyed playing guitar, piano, karaoke, going to the Eagles Lodge and music ministry with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Pollock, Frankfort; son, Frankie (Melissa) Smith, rural Frankfort; three daughters, Lisa (Michael) Badgley, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Kelli Jo Bray, Frankfort, and Trisha Renee Smith, Frankfort; three sisters, Carol Sue (Rex) Hudson, Bedford, Kathy (Barry) Bagley, Liberty, and Sheila Burt, Anderson; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Marie Robinson, on April 29, 2001.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Greentown Baptist Church or Diabetes Association.
