David Marshall O'Banion, 63, Kokomo, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Northwoods Village in Kokomo. He was born June 15, 1953.
David was a 1973 graduate of Haworth High School. He worked for Martin Marietta in sales. He enjoyed playing guitar and loved to cook.
David is survived by his mother, Evelyn O'Banion; children, Sarah Elizabeth (John) Scott, Hannah Bethany O'Banion, Joshua David O'Banion, and Luke William (Shelby) O'Banion; grandchildren, Flynn, Brogan, Greer and Cleri Scott; siblings, Terry (Penny) Hamilton, Bonnie Newton and Theresa Barkowski; and four nieces and two nephews.
David was preceded in death by his father, William O'Banion, and a nephew.
Funeral services for David will be at noon Monday, April 17, 2017, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Becky Sundquist officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
