Charles Franklin Branch, 82, of Kokomo went to his heavenly home on July 1, 2017.
Charles was born on Sept. 9, 1934, to his parents Charles Leroy and Anna Gertrude Branch (Moore) in Kokomo.
Charles married the love of his life Anneita Francis on May 2, 1956 in Kokomo.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anneita; son Dennis (Kim) Branch, Monticello; daughters, Misty (Jeff) Atkinson, Kokomo and Debbie (John) Johnson, Noblesville. He is also survived by his 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charles retired from Haynes International after a career spanning 45 years as a journeyman machinist. He served our country proudly in the United States Air Force for eight years. He enjoyed seeing the Chicago Cubs win the World Series, bowling in adult mixed and regular leagues, two-time Haynes Euchar Champ with his son and brother-in-law. He was an avid motorcycle rider, quick witted, and a huge jokester. He loved yearly trips to Disney World with his family. His grandchildren were his world and he would do anything for them. Charles attended In His Image Church, was a member of the United Steel Workers, American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars, and the Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gertrude, grandchild Brittni Ann Johnson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held on July 7, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Ellers Mortuary Webster with Pastor Brad Swain officiating. Friend may visit one hour prior to service and Thursday July 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will follow at Crown Point Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
