Brenda K. Crume, 77, Burlington, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at her home. Brenda was born Jan. 6, 1940, in Kokomo, to Thomas J. and Maxine E. Flynn.
Brenda was a 1958 graduate of Burlington High School. Her marriage to Gary L. Crume was March 26, 1960, and he survives. Brenda worked at Wilson Foods for 13 years, sold Tupperware for several years, and also managed the Burlington Apartments and the Windfall Apartments. Brenda was a member of Burlington Faith Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school and was involved in the Christian Women's Fellowship. She loved spending time with family and friends on Kjostad Lake in Minnesota.
Brenda enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing cards and board games. She was a very energetic, organized and selfless person who loved helping others in many ways. When asked how she was, Brenda's favorite answer was "just peachy."
