Bonnie Carol Runyan, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017. She was born Sept. 26, 1936 in Sevierville, Tennessee, to Mack and Ruth Roberts.
Bonnie raised her three children, John, David and Paul, and because of her, all of them graduated high school. She worked as a cook at the Hi-Mark, and also at Jodie's Northside. Bonnie was good at bingo, and won often. She was a strong Christian woman, a hard worker, and she loved her family very much.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, John (Denise) Runyan, Paul Runyan; brother, Adam Roberts; sister-in-law, Pam Runyan; grandchildren, Allen, Kyla and Megan Runyan, Abby and Jeffrey Swisher, Johnathon (Toby); great-grandchildren, Dalton, Saniah, Cole and John-John.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Runyan; former husband, Bob Runyan; sister, Inez Cowan; brothers, Walter "Buster" Baker and Alfred Roberts; and special friend, Curt Harness.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, May 22, at Ellers Webster Street Chapel. A service will follow at noon. Bonnie will be laid to rest in Crown Point Cemetery.
