Beulah B. (Harris) McWhirt, 73, formerly of Kempton, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 26, 2017. She was born Feb. 12, 1944, in Fentress County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late George and R. Estelle (Daniels) Harris.
Beulah retired in 2010 from Federal Mogul in Frankfort. She was a member of West Point Christian Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She looked forward to cooking for family get-togethers. Beulah was active in the Kempton civic league.
Beulah is survived by her children, Rick (Colleen) McWhirt, Frankfort, Rex McWhirt, Russiaville, Rusty (Shelly) McWhirt, Clinton County, and Louann (Virgil) Gross, Kokomo; grandchildren, Mackenzie McWhirt, Ericka McWhirt, Todd McWhirt, Ty McWhirt, Kole McWhirt, Konnor McWhirt, Ross McWhirt, Morgan McWhirt, Whitney Gross, Sarah Gross and Libby Gross; great-grandchildren, Tyleigh McWhirt, Maxwell McWhirt, Jaxon McWhirt, River McWhirt, Lucas Arbuckle and Piper McWhirt; sisters, Sandra (David) Tishner and Helen (Richard) Allen; and brother, Terry Harris.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Ridge, Frances Harris, and Martha Nixon; and brother, Ray Harris.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville. Private family gravesides services will be in Kempton Cemetery.
