Barbara E. "Memaw" Mock, 83, Kokomo, passed away at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at her daughter's home in Russiaville. Barbara was born April 19, 1933 in Tipton to the late Arthur and Blanche Snow (Parks). She graduated from Prairie Township High School in 1951. She was a member of Judson Road Christian Church, and was an accomplished seamstress and cook.
Survivors include her children, Jean Bledsoe, Janet Mock and Roger (Carol) Mock; grandchildren, Brandon and Jamie Bledsoe, Amelia Corne (Jason Reed), Katherine (Josh) McCoy, Nick Bledsoe and Monique Mock; great-grandchildren, Brayden Bledsoe, Levi Davis Jr., Bryson Bledsoe, Eve Martin, Makayla Davis, Briley Bledsoe, Shylah Corne and Ava Bledsoe; a brother, Standley Parks Snow, South Bend; a favorite niece and nephew, Allen Snow and Jane Ann Kirtley; along with several nieces and nephews; and her longtime companion, Precious.
Barbara was preceded in death her parents; six brothers, Gerald, George Junior, Gordon, Richard and Burnill.
Service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Rev. Joel Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in Sharpsville Cemetery, Sharpsville. Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday also at the funeral home.
