Anita Kay Corradi, 70, Kokomo, took her first breath in Heaven at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017. She was born June 16, 1947, in Kokomo, the daughter of Donald and Annabelle Zirkle. On Oct. 14, 1972, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, she married James Corradi, who preceded her in death April 10, 2014.
Anita graduated from Sharpsville Prairie High School in 1965 and worked for Delco for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.
Left to cherish precious memories are her beloved daughters, Sheri Keller, Sandi Corradi and Susan Corradi; grandsons, Dylan, and Kraemer Keller; mother, Annabelle Zirkle; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Russell Rood, and Jamie and Paul Bitner; sister-in-law, Judy Peacock and husband Billy; nieces, Monica Evans and husband Jim, and Melissa Butler; nephews, Tony Rood and wife Kim, Jim Peacock and wife Kay, and Larry Peacock and wife Vicki; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Anita was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband James; father, Donald Zirkle; in-laws, Giulio and Marie Corradi; and nephew, Josh Bitner.
Funeral services celebrating Anita's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 705 Southway Boulevard E., with Pastor William Allison and Pastor Barry Akers officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church and one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
