Andrew Nathan LaLonde, 35, Kokomo, passed away at 12:52 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at St. Vincent Kokomo. He was born Sept. 11, 1981, in Beech Grove, to Ronald H. LaLonde and Cheryl L. (Rankin) Faulstich. After being together since 1998, he and Melanie D. Pierce were married on May 22, 2008, and she survives.
Andrew graduated from Taylor High School and had worked at General Motors. He loved being with his dogs, especially Raheem, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved life to the fullest and could brighten anyone's day, no matter how down they were. He was a generous and caring man with a big heart.
In addition to his wife, Melanie LaLonde, he is survived by his children, Hannah and Tyson LaLonde; siblings, Aaron (Jennie) LaLonde, J.J. (Dennis) Shoemaker and Aimee (Brett) Boehmer; father, Ronald LaLonde; mother, Cheryl (Matt) Faulstich; in-laws, Ben and Diana Pierce; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., with Pastor Matthew Faulstich and Mary Jo Pearson officiating. Friends are invited to visit from noon until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
