Alice's Story

Alice Lynn "Olice" Green, 70, Kokomo, passed away at 10:47 p.m. Sunday April 23, 2017, at her residence. Born June 5, 1946, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Claude Day and Neva Irene (Smith). On April 7, 1995, in Rhea County, Tennessee, she married Edward Marrol "Butch" Green, who survives.
She worked as a certified nursing assistant most her life. She attended Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church and loved to play bingo.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Dorist "Frankie" (Sharon) Bonecutter, Point Pleasant, West Virginia; four daughters, Carma Wallace, Kokomo, Lori Divens, Pendleton, Jennifer Hunt, Redkey, Megan (Wes) Marchione, Greenfield; three brothers, Elmer Doan and Jack Day, both of Kokomo, and Dayle (Susy) Day, Bennetts Switch; two sisters, Sherrel (Bill) Bishop, Kokomo, and Gayle (Dennis) Boren, Amboy. There are also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
