Aleea's Story

Aleea "Sunshine" Graves, 21, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017. Aleea was born Dec. 9, 1995, in the city of Indianapolis.
Receiving her formal education in Kokomo, she graduated from Kokomo High School, after which she attended Vincennes University. She was employed by Kimco Cleaning Service, Indianapolis, and was a member of Strait Gate Ministries. Of her many loves in life, one of the greatest was basketball, and she was a big Indiana Fever fan.
She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her mother, Ebony N. (Shawn) Herron-Brent; father, Raymond Lee (Jessie) Graves Sr.; brothers, Raymond Lee Graves Jr. and Antwan Lamont Halliburton Jr.; sister, Ajena N. Herron-Ezell; stepsister, Ke-Shawnna Brent; maternal grandmother, Gloria D. (Michael) Carr; paternal grandmother, Cynthia C. Graves; paternal great-grandmother, Jill L. (Henry "Q-Ball") Orr; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Services will be at 12:09 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, with calling from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Bluitt and Son Funeral Home. www.bluittandson.com.
