Woodi "Kaye" Becker

Woodi Kaye Becker Woodi "Kaye" Becker, 55, of Greentown passed away at 5:17 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Born Oct. 31, 1963, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late John Bell and Kathleen (Spencer) Bell.
On Nov. 9, 1987, in Tipton, she married Robert Becker, and he survives. She was a purchasing coordinator for CSI Electronics in Kokomo for the past 18 years until the onset of her illness. She was a lover of all animals; especially her horses, parrots and dogs. Teaching her parrots, especially Ricky, to talk, training her horses, and hugging her dogs was her passion. She was a very shrewd negotiator, both professionally and personally, and handled the workload of two people.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Robert Becker of Greentown; also Spencer her dog, as well as all her extended family at CSI.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Pastor Joe Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Kokomo. The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary; also one hour prior to services on Monday. Memorials may be directed to the Kokomo Humane Society with envelopes available at the mortuary. It was with great sadness I received the news of Kaye's passing. Although I didn't know her well, I knew she and Bob were devoted to each other. She will be sorely missed by all.
