Wilma Ruth Schini
She retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. She had been a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer while living in Indiana and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in San Benito.
Left to cherish her memory will be her husband of 54 years, Paul Schini; her sons, William Schini, Paul C. Schini; six grandchildren; her sisters, Margie (Sunny) Sinnamon, Carolyn Scott and Dorothy (Leonard) Hartman; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Metcalf, Sue Metcalf, Beverly Metcalf, and Miriam Hubert; uncle, Eugene (Ruth) Metcalf; aunt, Maxine Scott; and many nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Gustav Harry Schini; sister, Margaret (Donald) Laag; brothers, John Metcalf, Russell (Cheryl) Metcalf, Perry Metcalf, Forrest Metcalf and Cleo Otto Metcalf; and brother-in-law, Dan Scott.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 705 Southway Blvd. E., with Pastor William Allison officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Wilma will be laid to rest at 2:30 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Peru.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.
